IB Biology, built for the syllabus you're actually sitting.
Study notes mapped to every syllabus statement, 2,381 exam-style questions with real markschemes, and a paper generator that lets teachers build a paper and hand their class a code. Written against the official IB Biology guide and data booklet — not a rewrite of the old syllabus.
No account needed to start. A1.1 Water is free in full, and revision slides are free on every lesson.
How it works
Learn it, practise it, then sit it under exam conditions.
Every lesson follows the same three stages, so you always know what to do next.
Study notes that match the guide
Each lesson is written against the official syllabus statements — A1.1.1, A1.1.2 and so on — so you cover exactly what's examinable at your level, and nothing that isn't.
Questions with the answer explained
Auto-marked multiple choice plus guided skills practice on real data and graphs. Every question shows why the key is right — and the misconception the wrong answers are testing.
Real paper formats, then mark your own
Paper 1A, 1B and Paper 2 in their authentic structure and timing. Sit a paper on screen, then mark it against the markscheme, question by question.
What's inside
Written for the exam, not around it.
The questions are built to the real paper's structure, command terms and mark allocations.
Authentic exam formats
1,739 multiple-choice, 348 data-based Paper 1B questions and 218 Paper 2 items — including Section B extended responses in the real three-part structure with a flat markscheme, not holistic bands.
Graphs and figures from published studies
Data-based questions built on real published work — Gause's Paramecium, Hodgkin & Huxley's squid axon, the Grants' Darwin's finches — so you practise reading the kind of data the exam actually uses.
Revision slides
A full illustrated deck per lesson to run through before a test. Free on every topic, no account required.
A real question from the bank. Every item carries its syllabus statement, command term and assessment objective.
For teachers
Build a paper in a minute. Hand your class a code.
Pick the topics, level and format — or hand-pick individual questions — then print it, save it as a PDF, or give students a short code that rebuilds exactly that paper.
Every format, to spec
Quiz, Paper 1A, 1B, full Paper 1, Paper 2, either section on its own, or a hand-picked paper. Authentic mark counts and timings come from the guide's published paper specs.
The code is the paper
A short code rebuilds the identical paper on any device — no accounts, no files to email. Students paste it, sit the paper on screen, then mark their own work against the markscheme and see their score straight away. Results stay on the student's device for now — teacher-side class results are the next thing we're building.
Print the answer key separately
Print the paper for the class and the markscheme on its own — as a lean answer key for marking, or with the full explanations when you're teaching from it.
Level-aware throughout
Pick SL or HL and the bank respects it: HL-only material stays out of an SL paper, and HL-only lessons aren't offered at SL.
